About the Journal

Journal of Studia Legalia is an open access and pre-reviewed legal journal, published twice a year (May and November). It was founded by the Legal Study and Research Forum, Faculty of Law, Brawijaya University (FKPH FH UB). This journal consist domestic and international legal developments that relate to the constitusional law and administrative law issues. The platform provides a place for all scholars around the world to share their academic work.

Studia Legalia is dedicated to encouraging scholarly attention and advancing in-depth knowledge of recent legal discourse. It accommodates high-quality manuscripts relevant to the endeavors of legal scholars and professionals with fundamental and long-term analysis in the light of empirical, theoretical, multidisciplinary and comparative approaches. This journal publication reflects the development of legal problems with a solution in a scientific journal article.

History

Before using the name Journal of Studia Legalia, this journal was known as Mimbar Jurnal Hukum which consisted of 2 (two) volumes, Vol. 01 No. 01 of 2020 and Vol. 02 No. 02 of 2021, with a publication period of 1 (one) time per year. Then at the beginning of 2022, Mimbar Jurnal Hukum changed its name to Journal of Studia Legalia with the hope that this change of name would become a legal journal identity for the Faculty of Law Study and Research Forum Brawijaya University Law. This journal will be published 2 (two) times in 1 (one) year.

Focus and Scope

Journal of Studia Legalia is a journal that aims to publish high-quality research manuscripts as well as conceptual analyzes studying any area of ​​law. The articles included in this journal discuss contemporary legal discourse within the framework of theoretical, doctrinal, multidisciplinary, empirical and comparative studies. The scope of submission of papers covers various fields of legal science, namely constitutional law and administrative law.

Open Access Policy
The journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available for the public with aims to supports greater global exchange of knowledge. This journal is an open access journal, which means that all content is freely available without charge to users or institutions. Users are permitted to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to full-text articles in this journal without seeking prior permission from the publisher or author. However, the author's identity must be included if it is included in a reference to another work
